Alliance Member Stories

TCMS Alliance Blog

The life of a medical spouse gives us a unique perspective on life, healthcare issues and community needs. Our members have many stories to share about the lifestyle we live with spouses who work long hours, are often called out of family events and now put their own health at risk to help others. Check back often as Alliance Members share stories about their life as a medical spouse, what is happening in the Alliance and in healthcare.

Medicine Ball Honoring Doctor's Day

The TCMSAF is excited to bring back the Medicine Ball on March 26, 2022. It has been a long, almost two years for all healthcare families. It will be a high-energy night with a live band: Le Freak. We will open the evening with a cocktail hour sponsored by Tower Digital and vendors to buy special items from Alana Kay Arts and Kendra Scott. Of course, we will have some great raffle packages to check out and try to win. Following the cocktail hour is a gourmet dinner, wine, and visiting with your favorite medical friends.

Welcome from Alliance President Marisa Mercer

On behalf of myself and the TCMSA board, I would like to thank you for your continued membership, and if you have just joined-welcome! Every one of you is vital to the success of the Alliance just by being a member. No matter what stage you are in your life, we are here to provide opportunity for involvement, community and friendship. In February 2020 we were able to celebrate our 100th year anniversary at the Medicine Ball and honor our past presidents before COVID-19 shut us down.
